You can use your email client such as Outlook to get notified when there is a file posted. It will give you the contents of the post as well as the attachment. Clicking the attachment via the feed will start the download as though you just clicked its attachment on the website.
How to Setup Outlook for the RSS2 Feed:
- Open Outlook
- Tools -> Account Settings
- Click the RSS Feeds Tab
- Click New
- Put http://www.innovationslounge.com/external.php?type=RSS2 in the location box
- Input a name for the Feed Name
- Done
