Default "How to" for converting 1080i MPEG4 files to DVD on SV8000PVR

Here is a "How to" for converting 1080i MPEG4 files from the SV8000 PVR. It does work for converting MPEG4 1080i files to DVD. It will not work for any other type of file. Namely MPEG2 1080i.

Thx to intrepid499. I take no credit for this.

Programs needed:

1- H264TS_Cutter
2- Nero Vision 5 or Nero Vision 4

Additional programs (needed for H264_Cutter):

1- Net 2.0 Framework (Microsoft)
2- DirectX 9.c (August 2007 Release) (Microsoft)
3- AVC / H264 DirectShow Decoder
4- TS-Splitter (Haali Media Splitter is recommended)

After installing all your programs, download to your HD the "trp" files created by the SV-HD8000. The files ending in .00x must be renamed to ".trp".
Open H264TS_Cutter, then TOOLS>Convert TRP/REC to TS.
After creating your new "ts" files load them in Nero Vision 5. Then you can create DVD's, HD DVD's, Blu_Ray, or mini HD DVD*.
This new Nero 8 program have a new feature where you can store HD material in a regular DVD. About 30 mins in a single layer or 60 min in a double layer (this mini HD DVD's are only playble in HD DVD players, sorry not in BLU-Ray players).
This "ts" files cannot be reencoded with ConvertXtoDVD or VideoREDO...

Note: I have tried using ConvertXtoDVD3 and it works (sort of). The video is pixellated in places and the audio is out of sync slightly. Hopefully later releases will be more successful.
